The Sports-Lite stability kit is a ballast bag which is attached to the centre of the tripod to provide additional stability in windy conditions and exposed locations.
Each stability kit consists of a pair of linked outer bags and 2 additional inner bags to hold the ballast and is supplied with Velcro strap for attaching to the Sports Lite tripod.
The inner bags may be filled with suitable ballast such as sand or pea gravel (not included) up to a maximum weight of 5kg per bag (10kg total).
When hung from the tripod as shown the maximum wind speed at which the lights can be safely used increases from 25mph to 35mph.
